A great example of a home studio display!
Just had to share......my long -time, sweet sweet friend, Heather Bookout had her studio open house this past weekend. OF course, I had to go! She is an hour drive for me but it was certainly worth it. I had not been for a visit in about 6 weeks and was blown away when I walked in. It was so inviting and such a BEAUTIFUL PLACE! She had an unbelievable turnout. But she did have a chocolate fountain and lots of door prizes!!!!! Here is one image but for the rest, go to www.bookout.squarespace.com.
Yes, that is a TREE on her wall - this really cool company called "Average to Art" made it. And, of course, those are all beautiful Wild Sorbet frames perched on the branches! This is her display of her "Painted Chandelier" collection - lots of great neutrals. Be sure to check out the other images on her blog - www.bookout.squarespace.com.
As you all know, we do apply oversize shipping fees to frames 48 United Inches or larger. Above 60 United Inches, the price is higher. Unfortunately, due to the increase in fuel prices and UPS shipping expenses, we must increase our oversize frame shipping fees. Beginning October 1st, frames between 44 and 60 United Inches will incur a $30 oversize fee per 2 frames. Frames above 60 United Inches will be determined per customer according to destination.
NOTICE this is per 2 frames...we hope this consideration helps a bit and hopefully we will be able to go down on this again soon.
We so appreciate your business and your loyalty to Wild Sorbet Frames. Thank you for being patient and understanding!
What is our Crib Frame? Well, I am so glad you asked......and many of you have since we have started our contest!
What is it?
It is a 6" 18x36 Frame. This size fits perfectly (from head to toe) over a crib!
The above is an example from Beverly Walden. Beverly does such a beautiful job with her images and graphic design talent. This is NOT a mat it is a template that Beverly created for her storyboards!!! She LOVES this package and says it is very easy to sell.
2. How do you pitch it?
When Mom comes in for her maternity session, you ask "Hey, what are you planning to put over your crib in your nursery?" And she replies, "ARRGGGHHH I have no idea !!!". Then, you very calmly suggest this lovely "crib frame" to her and explain that it fits perfect over the crib and you can fill it with a lovely storyboard of her baby when she brings her in for her 2 week session - you now have a guaranteed 18x36 print sale!
3. What can I combine it with?
So glad you asked...... We have a suggested "Nursery Trio" for those of you who have baby plans or want to re-vamp your baby plan. How 'bout this:
2 week session.........6" 18x36 Crib frame with story board etc.
3 month session........4" OR 6" 16x16 Accent Wall frame (9-up fingers and toes)
6 month session........4" 15x30 Changing Table frame (for storyboard or horizontal shot )
These are, of course, just suggestions for you..........just wanting to help!
Yes, I am very ashamed that I have not blogged in soooo long! Well, things have finally slowed down - but just a bit- and I am ready with lots of cool photos for you. Here are a few shots that we took outside the studio before we carried them to our 2 tradeshows we attended in July.
YEP!!! Back to back tradeshows - 1 week apart! Talk about BUSY! We were downright crazy!
This is a storyboard by Heather Bookout with circular openings....isn't it cute?
This is a close up shot of our new "designer trim"....BUNGALOW! It is very impressive.
